Event Details
The Leeds Relational Practice Centre is hosting a one-day virtual conference on Thursday 25th February 2021 in relation to a number of topics for our sector. The conference will include the following sessions:
Re-imagining Child Welfare
Steve Walker, Director, Leeds Relational Practice Centre
This session will focus on how national and local policy has an impact on social work practice, both at an organisational and individual practitioner level.
Listening to Children – Voice, Influence and Change
Hannah Lamplugh, Voice and Influence Lead, Leeds City Council
The focus of this workshop will be to explore how voice, influence and change were made central to Leeds’ approach to involving children, young people and families in service development and approaches to improvement.
The Development and Impact of Child Friendly Leeds
Andy Lloyd, Head of Workforce Development, Leeds City Council
This session will discuss our Child Friendly Leeds ambition and how we continue to strive to make Leeds the best city for children and families. In Leeds we have worked closely with some of the largest organisations and employers in the city to provide opportunities and experiences for Leeds children, young people and families that would not have been possible without the support of an entire city.
